The Ballad of Booth

John Wilkes Booth's song, showing the aftermath of the Lincoln assassination. After a brief appearence from David Herold, Booth sings about blaming Lincoln for the Civil War. With help from the Balladeer, he laments that the South is ruined and shoots himself in the head. In reality, Booth was shot by Union soldier Boston Corbett, but this was cut to save a gun prop and soldier costume.
